Okay, the impression that I got after reading the wiki, personality description, and sample:
(NOT SAYING THAT THIS IS HOW I FEEL, but... guessing from how the judges often judge apps.)
Too much optimism. Too much of the positive side of his personality, and none of the obstinate nature that your description seems to make a big deal out of. He was raised by dragons, right? Bravery, fierceness--maybe extend your sample and have him arguing with someone? Generally, I don't think all elements of a character's personality have to be in the sample, but the mods prefer multi-faceted apps, even if you simply show two traits instead of one.
Introspection seems to be good, though. Makes him seem like a bit of a dumbass, but that's kind of how he was described too, so. |D
